Professional sports massage and remedial therapist, Isy Fergusson is set to join the PGA level golfers on the Asian Tour 2022 next month.
With over 20 years’ experience in the Health & Fitness industry, Isy has also worked as a sports therapist for a range of elite sports including England Paraplegic Badminton Team, Injured Soldiers, PGA Professionals, Rugby Sevens, European Ladies Tour, Superbikes and Ironman Events.
Her skills and experience will help the golf professionals deal with any injury problems as they work their way through the tournament. Provision includes an integrated service on tour for all professional golfers for injury, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, screening, performance enhancement, rehabilitation, strength & conditioning and bio-mechanics.
Isy said “I am really excited to be joining the team on this PGA level tour next month. It is set to be a really great tour this year.”
Currently working in conjunction with the Ladies European Tour; Isy is very knowledgeable in treating golf injuries and educating clients on injury prevention. In her 2nd season, Isy will be working on site at a number of tournaments, starting with the Madrid Ladies Open in May and the Big Green Egg Open in the Netherlands in July, providing physical therapy, sports massage and performance services to all the Ladies European tour golfers.
In Andalucia, she also supports various local golf societies and academies and several athletic clubs in Mijas.
As a competitive long-distance triathlete, Isy herself competes nationally in Spain in middle distance. Being a motivated and enthusiastic sportswoman reflects her ability and enjoyment when working with clients across a variety of sporting disciplines, especially golf.
